Meet mrs. stam!
Just in case you’d like to know a little about me!
I was raised on an acreage south of Parkersburg, Iowa. I attended Timothy Christian School K-8, Aplington-Parkersburg High School, and then Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa.
I graduated from Northwestern in 2005 with my B.A. in education and a middle school endorsement. I have worked as a youth director in my home church, the Parkersburg Christian Reformed Church, and I have taught grades 3-8…and, of course, first grade! This will be my sixth year teaching first grade at Oskaloosa Christian!
My two favorite subjects to teach are Bible and art.
In my spare time, I enjoy creating things…scrapbooking, baking and cooking, drawing, writing, and playing my mandolin or other instruments with my family. If I have time, reading is also a favorite pastime of mine.
I have been married to my husband, Caleb, for a little over two years now. Caleb likes to pop in for lunch occasionally, so the kids get to meet him, too!
I am a true believer in Christian education—at home, school, and church. I truly consider it a privilege to be a part of your child’s education. I pray that we may work together to bring your child up in the ways of the Lord. Thank you for allowing me that honor.
