Today in reading we talked about two very important things when talking about ourselves and someone else in the same sentence. Mrs. Stam's two rules to remember are:
Don't be RUDE :)
Don't be Cookie Monster!
For two punches, explain what both of these rules mean! :) Have fun!
We do not say me went to the store. Me and my sister spriepsed mom and dad. The right way to say is my mom and I went to the store.

Don't say "me and mom", say "mom and I". Don't say "me want a cookie" say "I want a cookie".

Don't put yourself first, say gentle words, and don't say me say I.

Don't be rude. Put others first. Say I instead of me. Saying me is like Cookie Monster who says me want cookie.

Don't use me and mom you say mom and I went to the store. You don't say me went to the store you say I went to the store.

One rule is don't put yourself first in line, but let the other person be first. Don't be cookie monster say me went to the grocery store. Say Mommy and I went to the grocery store.
